Providing care for residents whose resources have been depleted continues to be an important part of the tradition, mission and vision of the Church of God Home. This compassion and quality care can only persist with the generous support of individuals, families, and corporations who realize the importance of such an older adult ministry.
Church of God Home is a not-for-profit. While it receives revenue for services it provides, this does not cover all the financial cost of serving our residents. The Church of God Home is particularly dependent upon cash and in-kind contributions to provide care for people with limited financial resources and to maintain a vital, attractive campus for its residents. By providing benevolent care to about 50 nursing and assisted living residents, it shows honor and respect to older adults. The Forever Caring Fund began in 1981 and provides such financial support. This fund was designed to help people with limited financial resources. Church of God Home invites gifts small and large. These gifts can be designated to the Forever Caring Fun or applied to the benevolent care needs of the current year. They can be given in memory or in honor of a loved one or in support of needy older adults. They can also be given toward planned capital improvements of the campus buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, furniture, resident programs, or employee training.
Church of God Home invites gifts of various kinds: cash, checks, stocks, bonds, treasury notes, mutual funds, charitable trusts, annuities, real estate, bequests, wills and other assets. All contributions are tax-deductible. These generous gifts help carry on this important ministry.
